One tool for every web image task
You can combine several steps in one go: shrink the dimensions, convert to WebP and reduce the file size at the same time. Drop a whole folder of images, set the options once, then download everything in a single ZIP file.
Each task also has its own page with suitable presets, which you can pick from the tool list above.
Why optimize images before posting them on a website?
Images usually make up more than half of a web page's weight. Heavy images slow the page down, hurt Core Web Vitals (especially LCP) and your Google rankings. A 4-5 MB phone photo resized to 1600px and converted to WebP often ends up at only 150-300 KB with hardly any visible difference.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser. Your photos never leave your device, even when you process hundreds of files.
Which formats are supported?
Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF (iPhone photos), GIF (first frame), BMP, SVG and AVIF in browsers that support it. Output: JPG, PNG and WebP.
Is there a limit on the number or size of images?
There is no limit on the number of images. Speed depends on your device. On iPhone and iPad, images larger than about 16 megapixels may need to be scaled down first.
